This Privacy Policy explains how (jve) STUDIO (“we”, “us”) handles information when you use the Flinder iOS app.

Flinder helps you discover things to do nearby, based on your location, the time of day, and the weather. You can browse activity ideas, see nearby places (with maps and photos), save places, revisit recently viewed places, share a place, get directions, pick another city, and subscribe to Flinder Pro. There is no account, no sign-up, and no ads.

Information we use

We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, or contacts. You do not create a Flinder account.

We use the following information to run the app:

• Location. With your permission, Flinder uses your device location to show nearby places, look up your city, and fetch local weather. You can also choose a different city in settings. Location is only used while you use the app (not in the background).
• Places you view or save. Names, addresses, coordinates, photos, and the activity they belong to. Saved places and recent history stay on your device.
• Preferences. Units (km/mi, °C/°F, 12h/24h) and whether ideas follow real-time weather and time.
• Usage analytics. Anonymous events about how you use Flinder (for example which screens you open, which activities you try, and whether a place was saved, shared, or used for directions). These events can include city/country and place names. They are tied to a random analytics ID, not to your name or email.
• Subscription status. Whether you have Flinder Pro, and purchase details handled by Apple (product, price, currency). We do not receive your payment card number.
• App security. A device integrity token (App Check) so our place-search API can reject fake traffic.

If you email us (for example via in-app feedback), we will receive whatever you choose to send, such as your email address and message.
